I'm Andrea and I've been a crafter for many years and am now a 'recovering hoarder'.  After working for a large company for 26 years.  I decided to have a total change of direction.  I left work and converted a disused building at the side of my house into a little craft shop.  Hence on the 16 May 2009 'Home Farm Crafts' shop was opened.

My partner Brian, has never had any connection with crafting until he met me and he now gets quite scared when he realises he know what 'decoupage' 'parchment' and 'brayering' means !  I keep telling him 'he loves it' - I'm not sure if he believes me - but he does play an important part in the business.

Our craft shop is in Royston which is between Barnsley, South Yorkshire and Wakefield and is on the main High Street.  We have off road parking at the front of the shop and are in the great position of living next door - getting to work on time can be a challenge.

Although the shop is small it is well stocked and we pride ourselves on being friendly, approachable and hopefully knowledgeable.  We aim to share ideas and skills in a friendly manner in order to ensure that many people, both young and old, will enjoy crafting for generations to come.
